Pomegranate is red-coloured fruit which has plenty small edible seeds in it. The seeds are blood-red in colour and are attached to the peal. It is quite sweet to taste and gives slightly rusty sensitivity. In Hindi, pomegranate is called anārain India but is famous as other names in many other countries. Its botanical name, however, is Punica granatum.
