Pumpkin is of deep yellow or orange colour large vegetable with round shape. Longitudinal lines can be seen on the vegetable. Inside contains seed and flesh of yellow colour. This belongs to family Cucurbitaceae. Botanical name of pumpkin is cucurbita pepo and called kaddu in Hindi. It is famous as different names in other parts of the country.
